Posting Comments

We have gotten several emails from people who have had trouble posting comments. To post a comment, click on the comment link, and then choose Name/Url from the Comment as dropdown box. Then you can type in your comment and submit it. I tried this and I think that it is the best way to post comments with this system... Let us know if there are still difficulties, we are all learning this site together.

35+ week appt

We saw the doctor again today for our almost 36 week appointment. Everything is going well, the baby seems to be a good size. The doctor estimates Dybs weighs about 4 1/2 pounds and is growing well. We start weekly appointments now, so every Friday we'll see him until we have a baby!!

Surprise!!

Nikki's coworkers threw a surprise "diaper shower" on Tuesday... Dennis came up for the festivities. Nikki was having a busy day and was late to her own party until she was pulled there, and then didn't realize right away what was going on...even when she first saw Dennis. She's not always the most swift. We had a great time and got about 800 diapers and other accessories. We really appreciate all of the support!!! Here is a picture of the diapers!

I thought we only needed like one or two per day?!? So, why so many?

33+ week appointment

We saw the doctor again today for our appointment. Everything is going well, he is happy with Dybs's movement and size, and my weight and blood pressure, etc. We will go back in 2 weeks and then start the weekly appointments after that, until Dybs is born. He said they usually let you go to 41 weeks at least before inducing...hopefully Dybs won't be stubborn and will come on time!!

We have been lucky enough to get 3D ultrasound pictures for both Jam and Dybs. See them here side by side, can't you see the family resemblance already?

Welcome

Welcome to our blog. We think that this will be a good way for everyone to follow as our family continues to grow. As the the name of the post details, we are happy to be adding to Delaney's family as Dybs' arrival comes closer. We can't believe that we will welcome our second child in a few short months. Feel free to check back here for pictures, videos, updates, etc. We will post updates here, although they will be more numerous when we have something more fun to post than pictures of Nikki gaining weight!
